Been going here since I was a little kid. Best fair in the world. Very Hands-On and educational. Fun for the whole family.
It's on the hill, as the locals say. Make sure to try the Apple Crisp with vanilla ice cream while you are 'on the hill'. The fair itself is part past and part future. They still do the sulkie races and the kids tractor pull, the later being the best attraction at the fair. The last couple of years the 'Pig on a twig' ( bacon cooked in maple syrup on a wooden stick) is a fair novelty and good.
Tunbridge World's Fair is a Vermont tradition.
The Antique Museum is worth a walk around.
It's a really fun place to spend the day with your family. Although you have to have deep pockets, everything is very expensive, and as my kids are six and seven they think they need some of everything. So as long as you take into consideration that it will probably cost you a weeks paycheck, you can have a great day.
I actually love the fair....my issue is with the admission price on Saturday, $15.00 Is outrageous to say the least!! The Norwich students that are in charge of parking are downright rude, they seem to think they can boss people around!! There were people who had a hard time walking parked a great distance away. There were closer spaces up front available!!
My first time and I loved it!! They have so many good things in a small area. I will definitely go back!
